Streptococcus mutans is the principal causative agent of dental caries, and the absence of a substance that inhibits it without producing side effects, is the reason for doing the present study, which is experimental type. This study has the objective to determine in vitro the susceptibility of Streptococcus mutans ATCC 2652263 against three ethanolic extracts of Camellia sinensis "green tea".
